A taste of Manila (Pan de Manila)

June 18, 2016
I'll say it again, me and my hubby's love-linker is F-O-O-D. We enjoy our quiet moments together, eating (and cuddling and harutan!)

Tonight, I wanna spoil him a little. Ayiiee!

Me and my friend, Mommy A went to Pan de Manila to buy (you bet it!) bread.

My husband loves donut (sa kanya namana ni Lance, hehe), but I didn't buy donut for him - silly me, I know! But that's because I got excited with a bread that has blueberry filling! Anything that has berry, oh we'll definitely go for it!

For 15.00 each this would be my pasalubong for him! Sad, 'cos there's only 2 left.

Anyway, Mommy A shops a LOT! From pastries to jams and herbed cream cheese.

Pan de Manila has varities of breads : Pan de Sal, Monay, cheese sticks, cinnamon rolls, churros, donuts, stuffed breads, toasted breads and loaf bread (& more)

They also sell jams: Coco Jam, Chocolate Jam, Calamansi Jelly, Guava Jam and Mango Jam. They also have spreads: peanut butter, garlic-butter cream cheese and my favorite herbed cream cheese ( & more).

Aside from those, they are also offering you the perfect partner for your yummy breads - coffee or chocolate drinks (instant and/or bottled).

3 reasons why we love Pan de Manila

 1.  It's delicious!
 2. Affordable - looks and tastes like those expensive ones
 3. Very Filipino, very Manila! I love the way they dress up their stores, boxes and bags. It's theme makes you think of how Filipinos eat - bread for breakfast, bread for merienda, bread for midnight snack, bread for anytime of the day! It also pictures how colorful our culture is.

So if you're thinking of pasalubong for your family or you just want to feel comfort-eating, do consider Pan de Manila. You will never regret! :)
